Artists Thomson & Craighead have donated artwork The End. The image comes from the site specific artwork, The End, originally made for exhibition at the Highland Istitute of Contemporary Art in 2010.
It is an intervention, where the words 'The End' are added to a scene in a style and scale one might associate with the end credits of a movie. The artists attempt to fictionalise the landscape cinematically, and also suggest terminus, or the approach of a pending disaster perhaps?
