Throughout the day, the Vintage Mobile Cinema screens an exciting selection of animations and short films, including Animate Project’s Move On Up programme. From 8pm the bandstand becomes a space for projections, films, animations and live scores, including the Move on Up programme and enjoy the sounds and visuals from The Cabinet of Living Cinema.

Move on Up is a festival of dynamic, exciting, provocative and beautiful films made by animation artists in the UK over last 20 years. All 16 films have been selected from the Animate Collection, the premier online resource for experimental animation. The earlier films were commissioned for Arts Council England and Channel 4’s renowned animation scheme, AnimateTV (1990 to 2009); later films - Edgeland Mutter, Engine Angelic and Love Brid - were commissioned for online exhibition. First shown at Art on the Underground's Canary Wharf Screen.
