The Digitalis programme will be showing as part of the University of Salford's public programme of exhibitions and arts projects around the theme of digital culture at their MediaCityUK campus.

Animation is at the forefront of digital innovation. It is fundamental to, and pervasive in, digital creativity and culture, and Animate Projects’ Digitalis initiative sets out to explore, question, subvert or confound our expectations of art and the digital.

This compilation programme includes a selection of astonishing works produced in the last couple of years. The films represent the best of the Animate OPEN: Digitalis exhibition, the Rough Machine films commissioned for online magazine APEngine.org, and the Digitalis Commissions produced with support from the Jerwood Charitable Foundation.
