Lament, a new film by Sean Vicary will be in exhibition at Oriel Davies Gallery, Wales.

Lament is a constructed film that uses found objects, animation, poetry and music to explore loss, longing and belonging in the Welsh borderlands.

In compliment to the moving image work, site-specific content will be presented through an augmented reality smart phone app. While walking in the countryside the viewer will encounter virtual objects that appear to 'sit' in the landscape, which can be engaged with via mobile phone.

The augmented reality content will be accessible through a QR code found in Small World Theatre's brochure and later on Sean Vicary's website.

The exhibition runs from 11 February until 18 April.

Lament was produced in association with the Arts Council of Wales, Animate Projects and Small World Theatre.
