Over Half Term and to coincide with the exhibition of Spherical Harmonics on The Wall at The Photographers' Gallery, Animate artist Elizabeth Hobbs will be leading a practical stop frame animation workshop for 14-18 year olds.

Throughout the day participants will learn the art of storyboarding and making their own animated videos. They will use drawing, coloured paper and photographs as collage materials, and digital cameras, laptops and mobile devices to record and edit.

Participants will also look at collage work on show in the exhibition Taking Shots: The Photography of William S. Burroughs to inspire their own work.

All materials are provided. Participants are also welcome to use their own photographs during the workshop. (Please print or photocopy several copies onto paper and bring them with you).
