did i? screening at Brighton Japan Festival

did i?, Hiraki Sawa's commission for Animate Projects, will be screened at the Duke of York's in Brighton as part of Brighton Japan Festival. did i? is a collage of live action, digital and analogue animation. The work will screen before cult Japanese animated sci-fi film, Akira.
Dwelling, one of Hiraki Sawa's early films will also be shown at the Duke of York's for the Brighton Japan Festival on 26 June. Dwelling re-imagines the take-off, set-down and taxiing of planes at a busy airport in toy-like proportions.
The screenings are realised by Permanent Gallery in partnership with Duke of York’s Picturehouse as part of Brighton Japan Festival.
