Biography
Joe Hardy studied Fine Art (Time Based Art) at Sheffield Hallam University and since then has been making short films and developing his artistic practise while simultaneously recording and touring in a rock band (Amusement Parks On Fire) for several years.
Currently based in London, he is focussing on several animation projects and long-term artistic collaborations. He was selected to present an interactive projection piece entitled Range at Ron Arad’s Curtain Call in the Roundhouse, Camden in 2011.
He is particularly interested in the non-linear potential modern technology offers art and film. And is also fascinated by the computers notion of randomness and pattern.
