Clemens Kogler was born in Steyr, Austria in 1980. An early interest in all things that are colourful and chemical led to studying Painting and Graphic Arts at the University of Arts in Linz, where he focused on digital animation and illustration. After some years trying to find a more classic approach to life by working in television and ad-agencies, he finally decided to choose a career in animated filmmaking, for its improved job security and pension benefits. He lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
