London born and bred, Susie graduated in 2001 with a BA in Commercial Music from the University of Westminster. As well as scoring and sound design, Susie writes and records her own music and songs. She also scripts and creates pieces for stage, radio and film. Her involvement with film music includes writing assists on the shorts Snap (independent) and His Passionate Bride (Animus Films for C4, 2004); with script credits including Not In Hill, a comedy pilot for BBC Radio 4 in 2002. In 2005 she collaborated with Monika Forsberg to create We Believe In Happy Endings which was screened at the Times/BFI 50th London Film Festival In Autumn 2006.
