The film is based on a Japanese folklore of the Ainu in northern Japan that speaks of a race of tiny people who live amongst humans and are hardly ever noticed.

Using a portable projector, animations of the tiny people playing around were projected onto the artist's house and filmed by using video mapping techniques.
