In working with residents from the Lithos Road Housing estate I will adopt a collaborative approach. I am interested in developing a series of workshops that explore animation techniques and in doing so produced a series of outcomes that could provide a wealth of material for a finished piece. The workshops would be tightly structured and investigate themes that reflected my own concerns, but the final piece would be a collaboration between the residents and myself.

I want to invite the participating families to consider the possibility of supernatural happenings or unexplained events within the housing estate. Science fiction has always interested me as it seems to offer a way of discussing fears or anxieties that exist in the real world and I thought this could be an interesting way of approaching the project.

Camden Arts Centre works with local community partners to develop projects and to encourage more local visitors to use the space. Camden Arts Centre gives people of all ages the space to be creative and experiment.

As well as regular courses there are free family days all year round at Camden Arts Centre using the studios. The Magic Lantern films and courses for all the family, brings together all ages and all levels of experience. Led by artists the workshops are stimulating and energetic.
