Magic Lantern Residency: Jani Ruscica
Travelogue, Jani Ruscica
Animate Projects and Camden Arts Centre have commissioned Finnish artist and filmmaker Jani Ruscica for this year’s Magic Lantern Residency.
For Magic Lantern, Ruscica has built on elements of animation within his previous works to make a new film based on the idea of a London travelogue using a variety of historical and contemporary source texts.
The final film was screened at Camden Arts 31 March-4 April 2010, and will subsequently be available on animateprojects.org.
Travelogue is support by the Finnish Institute in London and FRAME.
