Joe Magee is an artist and filmmaker working in a variety of media. He began his career as an illustrator, becoming a regular contributor to publications such as the Guardian, the New York Times and Libération, having over 2,000 images published. Joe has also had print exhibitions in Manchester, London and New York.

Since 1998 he has also worked in moving images. His first animated film, Hypnomart, has shown in over 20 countries and was shortlisted in two categories for the British Animation Awards (Best Use of New Media, and Most Cutting-Edge Film).
